Valentine’s Day in the Far North is done best at Shangri-La The Marina, Cairns. Combine an indulgent five-course dinner and special bottle of Veuve with a Coral Sea sunset and those magical Trinity Inlet views at The Backyard. The hotel’s Executive Chef Aaron Habgood has carefully created a memorable menu that starts with caviar blinis, oysters accompanies by flavoured pearls, smoked lobster and potato salad, The Backyard’s signature mud crabs, and a shared fondue dessert platter.
Price $225 per person, minimum of two, reservations must be made at least 24 hours advance.
